There are whispers that Sherri Shepherd’s marriage with Lamar Sally might be over after nearly four years.
Page Six reports that Sherri and Lamar are having problems in their relationship and they’ve decided to separate. Sherri, who hosts “The View,” wed Lamar back in 2011. Around the time of their wedding, she gushed about Lamar, “This man not only loves me, but he adores my son [Jeffrey]. And my son adores him.”
It’s unclear what caused the unconfirmed split, but a source close to the couple suggested to the Daily Mail that infidelity hay have something to do with it. A source told RadarOnline.com that Sherri has kicked Lamar out because of his career.
“Their whole relationship was built on a fraud and it’s finally over. She’s thrown him out of the house and he’s tried to speak with her but nothing is happening,” the insider claimed. “Lamar told Sherri that he was a big Hollywood player, with scripts being sold. But she’s tired of being married to a guy that doesn’t have a job.”
They added, “Sherri doesn’t need or want a babysitter for her son, she wants an equal partner.”
The gossip comes nearly a year after Sherri revealed to “The Tom Joyner Morning Show” that she and Lamar wanted to have a baby and that they were considering getting a surrogate to make that happen.
Neither Sherri nor her management have spoken out on the validity of these rumors at this time. When Radar Online reached out to Lamar he wouldn’t comment on status of his marriage, but he said he does miss Jeffery very much. “I was great with Jeffrey,” said Lamar. “He was in my life for four years.”

Lamar Sally has filed for divorce from “The View” host Sherri Shepherd. TMZ.com reports that he submitted court documents to end their marriage on May 2, and he’s being represented by Mark Vincent Kaplan in the split.
This will be Sherri’s second divorce.
