Iggy Azalea Headed To Court To Face “Scoundrel” Ex-Boyfriend

Iggy Azalea has a lot more to worry about than just her hip-hop career, the “Fancy” rapper has to confront her “”scoundrel” ex-boyfriend, Hefe Wine, aka Maurice Williams, in court. According to Hefe, Iggy agreed to marry him back in 2008 and the couple acted like husband and wife. While Iggy’s lawyers argue she never married Hefe, she must sit in on the divorce disposition. According to reports, Iggy met Hefe when she was 17.

“I was running out of money and thought I would have to return home to Australia,” Azalea said. “Williams convinced me to stay by promising to furnish a vacant property he owned for me to live in. He told me I should stay with him and sleep on his couch while he arranged to furnish my place. I naively trusted him.”

She continued, “I have since learned that Williams is a convicted felon with a criminal record dating back to 1990 that includes convictions for felony theft, attempted burglary, theft by check and criminal mischief; that he currently is free on a $50,000 bond on pending domestic assault charges; that he uses many aliases.”

Sounds like he was apart of the “men who ain’t ish” crew.

In other Iggy news, rappers like Lupe Fiasco and Will.i.am took to Twitter to defend the White rapper.

“Iggy has a place in HipHop,” Lupe tweeted. “Her place.”And Will.i.am wrote, “@IGGYAZALEA hiphop is global now … it doesn’t matter if your white or black,” He added, “Thanks for contributing & spreading our culture positively. It saddens me that people are making a big deal about race in hiphop & not ethics … today’s ethics goes against our foundation.”

Iggy responded, “Thanks lupe and will iam what you guys said was really nice and I appreciate it,” Azalea tweeted Monday. “Most people learn every and anything they can about the subjects they are passionate about, I’m no different.”
