Hello My Beauties! So today’s natural hair style is going to take a little time to execute properly; but the results are so worth it! This style says “I can wear my natural hair in any way I please!”
1. The first thing you’re going to want to do is make sure your hair is clean and dry. You also want to make sure you have enough time to let it set for a couple of hours so it’s best to prep your hair before bed!
2. You’re going to start by individually twisting your hair into medium size twists, then take those individual twists and roll it up into a “Bandu Knot,” securing each knot with a bobby pin
3. In approximately 3 or 4 hours, take your hair down. BUT MAKE SURE YOU UNRAVEL THEM THE RIGHT WAY!
3a. Remove bobby pin, roll out the knot, untwist the hair, BUT DO NOT COMB, BRUSH, OR FINGER YOUR HAIR. Because you want the form of your hair to stay just how it is!
4. Next, you want to section off a chunk of either front side of your hair, but not going to far to the middle or too far to the back. Leave that section free and tie down the rest of your hair with a hair clip; not a hair bow, because you don’t want it to leave creases.
5. Now, it’s time to Corn-roll, and if you don’t know how to and you have no one around that can assist… this style is not for you LMBO! Corn-roll your small section into a curve going towards the center of your hair; the tinier the braids the cuter the style.
6. Then, you’re going to let your hair down from the clip and use your bobby pins to assist you making a semi Swoop-like mini bang in the front your head. You’re going to have to take pieces of hair closest to the braids and bring them towards the opposite ear, pinning it in place.
7. Then you take the loose braids along with a couple of other loose pieces nearby and you bring it across the other side stretching to the opposite ear, rolling it into a very small French roll, just to give it a bit of a Mohawk form; then you pin it in place.
8. Lastly, take a #Selfie and @ ya girl who just hooked you up!
