The sheer volume of Jordan Brand silhouettes that Nike sends to shelves is absolutely dizzying, but thankfully most of them manage to stand out in the mix. One such model is this Air Jordan 5 Hornets colorway, which is setting sail to retail in a few short days.
The silhouette effectively could be a jumble of all things Carolinian with a midnight navy leather upper and hits of turquoise on the lining. The midsole pays homage to Duke and the Hornets respectively. The transparent mid panels and outsole stand out as well by assuming a sort of blue-tinged hue, which really adds to the overall appeal.
