According to KissDetroit, Diddy will sue BET and Viacom for $15M as he believed that his fall was a publicity stunt for BET.
“It’s funny how I magically fall into a hole after the whole UCLA episode. I’m not stupid, I am the king of marketing. I know BET’s strategy and now they’ve gotta pay up, nothing’s free when it comes to Diddy,” he allegedly explained.
During Sunday’s BET Awards, Diddy was joined by Lil’ Kim, Ma$e, Faith Evans, 112 and more for a medley of Bad Boy hits like “It’s All About the Benjamins”, “Mo’ Money, Mo’ Problems” as he celebrated the record label’s 20th anniversary.
While performing the former song, he fell into an open hole used by Kim to make her entrance to the stage. He quickly got back on his feet and continued performing. He didn’t seem to mind the incident when he poked fun at the fall in an Instagram post. “I was getting so loose I fell lol but really tho I bust my ass lol,” he wrote.
