According to MTV, Future’s camp may have purchased the artwork for his latest project ‘Dirty Sprite 2’ from popular stock sharing site Shuttershock for a grand total of — wait for it — $80 or less.

The apparent creator of the dope purple and blue image is Sanja Tošić, a Slovenian artist who has sold countless of her abstract images on Shutterstock. Tošić didn’t disclose the exact price the cover went for, but did explain that she’s had items go from anywhere between $0.33 to $80.

Per the story on MTV.com:

Shutterstock’s Rachel Ceccarelli – a communications manager – didn’t say whether the image was actually used for DS2. “We can’t confirm it’s our image, as we have a non-exclusive relationship with our contributors and they can contribute their work elsewhere,” she explained. But it wouldn’t be the first time a Shutterstock photo was used for a musician’s cover art, she added.

Also, according to HipHopEarly, the numbers for Future’s latest album are damn good, putting him on track to have the highest selling hip hop album of the week, and fourth highest (behind Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Meek Mill) of the year.
