“Adidas already has a stable of talented young guards on their roster including Damian Lillard, John Wall, Jeff Teague and Derrick Rose. However, they’re still looking to bolster their lineup, and have reportedly offered James Harden $200 million to leave Nike.

Harden, who has yet to receive his own signature sneaker with The Swoosh, has fully endorsed the Nike Hyperchase in the past, but we have to believe he’d be getting his own personal shoe if he agrees to a deal with Adidas.

According to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, Adidas has submitted a 13-year $200 million bid for the Rockets’ guard, an offer which Nike has until the end of next week to match.

Either way, The Beard is about to get paid and we’re likely to see a signature shoe sooner than later.

Good things happen when the Based God lifts his curse.”
