The hearings for Suge Knight‘s murder and robbery trials were postponed by a judge today (September 17), the Associated Press reports.

The proceedings regarding Knight’s murder case were delayed by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Ronald Coen.

Knight is being charged with murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run after he allegedly ran over three men, killing one of them, in January. He was visiting the set of the N.W.A biopic, Straight Outta Compton, and got into an altercation with Cle “Bone” Sloan and Terry Carter. Carter was killed.

Last year, the Rap mogul and comedian Katt Williams were arrested for allegedly stealing a celebrity photographer’s camera. Both pled not guilty to the charges.

Coen granted Knight and his lawyer’s request for continuance. The hearing for the prosecution to present its evidence is now set to occur October 13.
