Meek Mill appeals his house arrest sentence in a recent filing by his lawyer, Joe Tacopina, according to TMZ. He has been serving his time for one week.

The Philadelphia rapper says that he is seeking to have the demands that he can’t record new music or perform removed from the sentencing. He says he has a studio in his home and would like to continue making music.

Meek Mill was sentenced to 90 days house arrest last month for violating his probation. His girlfriend, Nicki Minaj, testified on his behalf.
