Like many of L.A.’s celebrities, Kanye West was at Coachella on Friday, making a special appearance in both Jack U and ASAP Rocky’s sets, the latter of which he actually performed “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1” before he and Rocky’s mics were cut off due to time restrictions. When he wasn’t popping up on stage, he seemed to be having a pretty good time behind the scenes, as some footage of an athletic competition between himself and Tyler, The Creator surfaces today.
Though it’s not clear why (but knowing Tyler, probably just for the hell of it), Kanye and the Odd Future leader decided have a “track meet,” running a short sprint in the dark backstage area. While Tyler emerged victorious, a rematch is probably in order, as Ye pointed out that someone got in his way halfway through the race and slowed him down.
