Update:

Seems like Future has responded to Ciara’s fear:

Original Story:

Ciara is shook. According to recently filed legal documents, the singer is afraid that Future is planning to kill Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.

TMZ reports that Ciara feels threatened by Future’s latest choice of lyrics and emojis. In legal docs for her defamation lawsuit against Future, Ciara notes a recent post by Future, which featured gun emojis pointing at football emojis.

She also mentions Future’s track “Juice,” which dropped on June 24 along with the rest of the DJ Esco-assisted mixtape, Esco Terrestrial. The ATL artist raps, “Tryin’ to fuck my baby mama, dawg what’s up with you?/You gon’ make me get that heat, I’m pullin’ up on you.”

According to TMZ, Ciara calls the behavior “frightening” and “socially irresponsible … where there has been a recent rash of gun violence.” Ciara, of course, is Future’s baby mama. The two split up in 2014, and Ciara began dating Wilson.

Future has said in past interviews that his music is not necessarily the truth, nor is it a direct reflection of his personal life. In fact, in a January interview with Clique, he stated that he created his drug-laden project Monster while he was sober. He explained his use of drugged-out lyrics by saying, “Because I feel like that’s the number one thing everybody likes to talk about … It’s the number one seller.”

So, what about the lyrics on “Juice?” Are they an actual threat, or is Future simply trying to draw listeners?
