You Promised Me You Would Never Change. . .
So goes the opening line to Joe Budden’s first verse on Wake, the third installment to his Drake-Dis LP. Mouse sampled Drake’svoice off the song The Resistance Drizzy dropped in 2010.
Well, it’s not really an LP. Yet. But Budden feels slighted by Drake for multiple reasons, and after releasing Making a Murderer Pt. 1 a few weeks ago he still hasn’t let off the gas.
For whatever reason, though, Drake seems to get a pass.
