Well this changes the narrative just a bit. J. Prince is notoriously gangsta and he has always been vocal about his dislike for Birdman. Birdman has always been quiet when it comes to J. Prince.

Lil Wayne‘s mission to get his rightful compensation from Birdman has taken on the feeling of a battle of wills, a war of attrition, a bitter struggle in which he’ll need all the help he can get. TMZ reports that Wayne has found himself a powerful ally: James Prince, otherwise known as J. Prince, founder and CEO of Rap-A-Lot Records.
Prince’s son Jas Prince was the man who connected Drake with Young Money. The elder Prince told TMZ that he is willing to shoulder some of Wayne’s burden and put pressure on Birdman to pay his estranged son.
