Young Thug apologizes to Future for the brief Internet-spawned feud they were involved in last year.
Atlanta’s two leading men are back on good terms, and the city is thriving because of it. Tensions between Future and Young Thugflared — perhaps a natural result of healthy competition — about a year ago. The feud first caught the public’s eye after Thug took issue with a tweet of Metro Boomin‘s that warned other rappers not to attempt to emulate Future’s work ethic. A few days later, Metro confirmed that the squabble had been put to rest, and indeed, this year Thug and Future have proven not only to make amends but also to develop a strong rapport both in and out of the studio. “My brada,” wrote Thugger today in the caption of a birds-up selfie of him and Future that was taken at his 25th birthday party. In the same caption, he apologized to Future for the “Internet arguments.”
