Don Q, friend and fellow artist is also a HBTL (High Bridge the Label) mate. Don Q made a name for him self through musical collaborations with A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie prior to A Boogie’s come up. Don Q is a force within the world of street rap but as of right now he is light years behind A Boogie in brand and recognition. Why is that you ask? People are out here saying he is in fact BETTER than his own friend, yet why is it that A Boogie is so widely known and recognized? Let’s face it he’s catchy! A Boogie’s “My Shit”, “DTB” (Don’t Trust Bitches), “Friend Zone”, are prime examples of just, well good ass songs, I don’t know how else to say it. Artist in my opinion is a methodical, and well thought out rapper. Don Q on the other hand has bars. I think this was proven, at the BET Hip Hop awards when A Boogie, Don Q and Young M.A. stepped up to the mic.
