The Cleveland Police Department is investigating a homicide on East 93rd Street. Police said the suspect, Steve Stephens, 37, posted the killing of a Cleveland man on Facebook.

Stephens video said he was preparing to kill people and blamed his mother and ex-girlfriend of three years.

“She’s [the girlfriend is] the reason why I’m making this video. She is the reason what’s about to happen today,” said Stephens in the video. “I’m out of options. Now I’m on some murder-type [expletive].”

The video above is edited. Cleveland officials said they have the unedited version of the video associated with this post.

Police said Stephens shot and killed Robert Godwin, Sr. The 74-year-old man was randomly shot, police said.

In the separate Facebook video, Stephens approaches the unsuspecting the man.

“She’s the reason this is about to happen,” said Stephens in the Facebook video.

Godwin was then shot and killed.

During a news conference Sunday afternoon, police urged Stephens to turn himself in.
