JRZY City

Raised in the streets of Oberlin and Lorain Ohio he began to pursue music a lot more. Starting piano at age 7 up until 16 years old while starting in fourth grade as first chair viola in his orchestra class was alright, but his passion was hip-hop. Once graduated from Oberlin Senior High School he moved to Toledo, Ohio to attend the University of Toledo. Where he majored in Business Administration and minored in Music Production. Now the sweet thing about this school for him, they had electronic music for beats and recording techniques for studio sessions. Then old habits kicked in. The partying, the hustling, the girls so much of it that not needed. So due to this he was kicked out and returned to the 440.

Now soon as he got back home, he soon realized that this is not where he is or was meant to be. So something had to change ASAP. He began to fool around with a program called FRUITY LOOPS 6 on his laptop that his grandma, a.k.a Grandma Gordon had bought him for school about a year and a half before but could he could never figure it out. Well. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . That was the end of being computer illiterate and beat making illiterate. He became good, I mean he became damn good and at a quick pace as well. While attending a local community college and promoting his own material from beats, to mix and mastering, writing, and promotion he was approached by a local production and producing company in Columbus, Ohio by the name of 5000 Fingaz Productions. They honestly wanted to know who made his beats. They didn’t believe that JRZY City himself, who is an artist, was also producing himself. During this time he dropped his debut single called “Getn 2 Da Money”. This was the start of the OB Stand Up Mix tape, which turned JRZY City into MR 4-40. His buzz grew as well as his talent and skill. Now signed to BMGMUSICGROUPLLC he has finally found the homemade foundation needed.

Be sure to keep your eyes open, but most importantly your ears open for this new and upcoming artistic flavor from the 4-4-0 area. In the words of JRZY City, “OH 10 stand da fuck up, it’s our turn now”!
