Do you need new tires…An easy way to check tire wear is to insert a penny with President Lincoln’s head down into the tire’s tread. If the tread hides any part of his head, your tires still have ample tread. If you can see the top of his head, it’s time to replace your tires.
Whats size tire do you need….The vehicle’s owners manual states what size and type of tire work best. Can’t find your manual? Check the information placard on the door edge, glove compartment or inside the trunk lid.
Consider summer, winter or all season tires…If you live in an area that gets a lot of snow and ice in the winter or you go on frequent ski trips in the mountains, consider buying a set of winter tires. The rubber compounds grip the road better in cold weather, and they have deeper tread depth and special edges to help you stay put on snowy, icy roads.
Hopefully, this was helpful to you, if so good, if not still spread the word.
