efore XXXTentacion was abruptly killed last month the Soundcloud rapper had signed a $10 million album deal with Empire Records. Empire released his first album “17” which was released in August 2017 and debuted at number 2 on the Billboard chart.
According to Ghazi Shami, the founder of Empire said that XXXTentacion had finished “a significant amount of material”, although there is no set date for its release.
Although is a significant demand for X’s music right now after his untimely death, due to a clause in his last contract with Universal Music Group it could be October before fans get to hear XXXTentacion’s unreleased music.
