Captain Tyree Thompson
Captain, Division of Fire
Works in Community outreach – Public Education, teaching fire safety to schools, senior centers, etc. Most people would be surprised to learn that I also went to college and have a college degree from Buffton.
Hobbies are working out, tailgating with the Cleveland Browns family, and spending time with his 3 daughters.
His tip of the day:….Listen to your own voice and don’t let people say you can’t do something.
My name is Cameron Bott. I am a Field Paramedic that works in the Cleveland EMS float pool, which means l don’t have a designated base. I float all over where they need me for the day of my work assignment. I have been working for the City of Cleveland for 1 year and 2 months. If I was to share any tips with someone to make them feel safer, they should be aware of their surroundings at all times and keeping your head up as much as possible.
Most people would be surprised to learn that I know how to play the guitar. I’ve been playing the guitar for the past 8 years. This is something that I enjoy doing in my spare time and I currently own 6 guitars. I also like to play different sports like basketball, and football. I always try to catch as many Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Cavaliers games that I can.
The most memorable, scariest experience on the job I think so far was when my partner and I had received a call for a 10 year old boy near drowning and needed to be resuscitated. It was a very difficult call because the kid did not survive and my partner and I did everything possible to give him a shot to survive.
