It’s happening! Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss is working on expanding her family and this time she has some extra help!

“Yeah, yeah, we’re moving forward,” the 42-year-old reality star said when asked if she and husband Todd Tucker are planning on having another baby. “We’ve decided we wanted to … get a surrogate.”

The Grammy-winning singer continued to dish,

“We did find someone, and right now we are in the process — you know it hasn’t been done — but we’re in the process.”

Like many parents, Kandi had her reservations but the thought of having a new addition to the family seemed like a better picture.

She admitted that she was “kind of scared to do it” and “nervous about it” in the beginning because she and Tucker don’t know anyone else who have gone through the process.

“Like, I don’t have anybody who can tell me [about it]. When we were going through the IVF process, I did have a couple of friends who had done it, so, you know, I could talk to them, but this is a situation where I don’t have anybody I can talk to.”

Kandi also didn’t hold back and shared the gender of the potential new baby.

“We have girls,” she revealed. “We have two embryos that are still left from when we had Ace. So, we have two embryos left and we know they’re girls.”

Kandi and Todd already have a son together. The singer also has a 16-year-old daughter from a previous marriage.
