DRAKE HAS BEEN NAMED THE KING OF STREAMING PLATFORM

It may only be early December, but the year-end lists have already started rolling out, and a familiar name rules one particular ranking. Drake has been named the king of streaming platform Spotify when it comes to the U.S., and a quick look at all the lists of what pieces of music Americans consumed the most this past year shows he was truly unbeatable.

According to the streaming platform, Drake is not only the most-streamed musician in the U.S., he also lands the most-streamed album (Scorpion) and the Nos. 1 and 5 most-streamed songs (“God’s Plan” and “Nice For What,” respectively). The Canadian rapper is also the most-streamed musician in the world this year with an astounding 8.2 billion plays of his songs. Spotify has also named Drake the most streamed artist of all time, which isn´t tough to believe now that heś tacked 8.2 billion new streams onto his career total.
