Nipsey Hussle was pronounced dead at the age of 33 after the rapper was gunned down and reportedly shot 6 times Sunday evening in a Los Angeles neighborhood south of the Crenshaw area. Reports state he was at his clothing company called the Marathon Store.
“We are handling this as a homicide investigation. We have one male, black suspect. No arrests have been made at this time. We’re asking that if anyone saw something to please notify our South Division Homicide Division. I do know our three victims were in the parking lot of the clothing store.” – Chris Ramirez, LAPD Lieutenant.
Born Ermias Ashgedom, Hussle leaves behind his children Emani and Kross Asghedom as well as his longtime girlfriend Lauren London.
Hussle was nominated for his first Grammy award in 2019 for Best Rap Album.
