Consultation on 5p plastic bags to be extended to small shops in England

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) – Those plastic bags you use for groceries may soon be on their way out in Cuyahoga County.

Members of Cuyahoga County council wants to limit the waste non-recyclable use bags create by eliminating them from retail stores.

The council will discuss the ban this week.

Cuyahoga County council members Sunny Simon and Dale Miller are sponsoring the legislation.
