CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) – The mother of the 9-year-old boy who brought marijuana gummy bears to school has been placed on community control.

Cleveland Municipal Court Judge Pinkey Carr ordered Shari Gould to have a mental health evaluation, attend parenting class, get a substance abuse assessment and undergo random breathalyzer’s through April 2020.

Gould must also pass out apology notes to students and parents on the last day of school at Anton Grdina Elementary School on East 71st in Cleveland.

On Feb. 4, Gould’s son brought the candy to school.
