Now that the 2018-19 school year has ended it would seem that the Council for Economic Opportunities in Greater Cleveland’s Head Start programs would have some downtime– that couldn’t be further from the truth. Heading into the summer months, the Council is hard at work planning meetings, comprising plans to increase enrollment and planning & attending as many community events as possible. CEOGC has a lot to offer YOU in the community, so check some of the things we have coming up:

Resource Palooza: CEOGC’s first major event is its Resource Paloozas. Four Paloozas will be hosted in the months of June and July at multiple Head Start locations to promote community engagement and get families excited about enrolling at one of our 11 Head Start sites across Cuyahoga County. There will be vendors like the Cleveland Food Bank and Case Western School of Dental Medicine on-site as well as CEOGC’s Community Services team. You’re invited, so be sure to mark your calendars!

Stone Soul Festival: CEOGC has partnered with Radio One to present the 2019 Stone Soul Festival. The Council and all its services will be represented at the festival with an on-site booth providing literature about our programs and 5-star centers! Be sure to stop by our table and find out how Head Start can help your future world-renowned musician, doctor or engineer, learn about the personal development courses we offer and talk to our workforce team about a future career path. We want to see YOU there!
