Ya know, the last four years under Donald Trump certainly managed to do one thing – remind us all of how downright racist this country actually is. For better or for worse America’s dirty, brushed aside past is now the elephant in the room, and if you can’t tell just rewatch the commercials that aired during the Super Bowl.

And if you thought that some clueless white people were the only ones who hated the brown and black, well, think again.

Meet Austin Chenge, the black Republican in Michigan who is running for Governor. Chenge, who is Nigerian, believes that Black History Month is ‘offensive, unfair and maybe illegal’.

Now I”m not sure about you, but doesn’t a Nigerian potential Governor in Michigan wanting to cancel Black History Month sound so 2020? Come on man, it’s a new year!

At least on paper… smh.

Besides, even if he is elected, the chance that he’ll actually have of following through on this bold, dumb ass promise is likely nil.
