There were many tribes that were enslaved during the Trans Atlantic slave trade in 1526.

One of those tribes from Africa was the Igbo tribe. Igbo can be pronounce and spelled a variety of ways.

So is your African heritage IGBO?

Lets get into who the Igbo tribe are as a people. They are the third largest ethnic group in Nigeria they are known as farmers, craftsman, traders, with their main activity being in agriculture.

Igbo people are about polytheistic religion, they believe in father-son inheritance, farming traditions, and belief in evil spirits.

Every major event that happens has some kind of significance based on the Igbo culture and whatever related aspect of it is being described.
