Daniel Boone is a frontiersman who first began exploring the valleys of the now present-day Kentucy.
Kentucky is known as the Bluegrass State since June 7, 1769.
Boonesborough was established in Kentucky, which is one of the first American settlements.
Some consider him to one of the first America heroes.
At the end of the 18th more then 200,000 European people had moved to Kentucky.
