Odom was drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers in 1999 and played for them up until 2003. The Clippers have shown interest, communicating with the Dallas Mavericks as time winds down before the Friday deadline. If the Mavericks don’t trade or buy out Lamar Odom’s contract for $2.4 million by Friday the team will owe Odom $8.2 million dollars next year.
