I guess someone finally got in Jennifer’s ear and made her realize the lawsuit over that slap from her ex-friend Nia Crooks was pretty much pointless so she dropped it. Details inside…
According to TMZ earlier this month Jennifer filed documents to drop the lawsuit. There was of course no settlement reached considering Jennifer was the one who said Nia didn’t have anything to sue for anyway.
Jen’s rep released this statement:
“[Jennifer is] already dealing with her difficult divorce and did not feel that it was necessary to continue to pursue civil action.”
Yea, yea, yea, she can say what she wants but we all know the suit came out of pure embarrassment that the slap was seen on international T.V. Now I can feel her on that note but at the end of the day Jen’s lawyer fees to keep the civil suit going was way more than she would ever see from Nia if she won so it’s about time she let it go. And considering the fact that Shaunie is just dying to cut people from the BBW cast who knows if she’ll have a job to pay those lawyers when its all said and done.
