LORAIN, Ohio – Edgar Figueroa, 3, is OK Friday after attempting to take a neighbor’s van on a joyride.
The boy was at his grandmother’s house when family members said they turned their backs for a moment and the child slipped outside unnoticed.
According to a report by the Morning Journal, the 3-year-old somehow got behind the wheel of his neighbor’s 1997 green Dodge Caravan.
The police report said the owner, Ismael Marcial, said his van was parked in his drive way when suddenly he saw it rolling down the driveway and into the street.
Marcial said when he got to the van, Edgar was in the driver’s seat.
