The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards was a great place to perform, win awards, and plug new albums. It was also a great place to make announcements.
Trey Songz used his opportunity as presenter to announce to the world that he would be joining R&B showman Usher on his recently announced OMG tour.
While introducing Usher’s blazing performance of “DJ Got Us Falling In Love” and “OMG,” Trey said it was “an honor” to get to tour with the star.
The OMG tour kicks off on November 10 in Seattle, before hitting major markets like Los Angeles’ Staples Center on November 18, the Phillips Arena in his hometown of Atlanta, GA on December 5, Madison Square Garden in New York City on December 13, and wrap in Hartford, CT December 18 at the XL Center.
Trey will get a chance to support his new album,Passion, Pain & Pleasure, in stores September 14. SOURCE
