MARIAH Carey is pregnant with a boy — according to a new report.
The singer — who has previously admitted she’s too superstitious to confirm whether she’s with child — is said to be four months into her pregnancy.
Insiders say Carey — who’s married to actor/rapper Nick Cannon – will announce the news during an interview on Oprah Winfrey’s talk show in the next few weeks.
“She’s having a boy, but the reason that Mariah didn’t want to say anything is because she is 40, and she’s superstitious,” a source said.
“But she’s going to appear on Oprah and The View, so she’s planning on making the announcement soon. They haven’t decided whether they’ll raise the baby in New York or Los Angeles.
“The fertility drugs were the reason for her weight gain earlier this year.
“She stopped drinking back in March or April this year.”
Recent reports claimed Carey had put Cannon on a sex ban until after she gives birth.
“Mariah is a huge worry wart,” a source said earlier this month.
“She had such a difficult time getting pregnant that she fears something awful could happen to her little one if they make love, even though doctors have tried to convince her otherwise.
“She’s also feeling fat, unattractive and extremely exhausted right now and not her usual frisky self.”
