Who the hell tells Oprah NO? Vick & Eagles. BMS has learned from Oprah insiders that Mike Vick is no longer doing the sit down interview next week. The 2 reasons Vick’s personal team & the Philadelphia Eagles.
Vick’s people issued a statement about the decision: “After careful consideration, I will need to postpone the taping of the Oprah Winfrey interview scheduled for February 22. I admire and respect Oprah and hope to be able to participate in an interview in the future.”
BMS has learned Vick nixed the planned taping because his publicist didn’t think he was ready for Oprah’s tough line of questioning about the dogs and his specific role in the saga. He reportedly needs more coaching. Late Wednesday night we were contacted by those close to the Philadelphia Eagles who said Vick wouldn’t really gain anything from an interview with Oprah. “He’s done his time and has been on a good media roll without Oprah, so why rehash the past, let’s move forward”.
