Bilal Oliver is the sh*t.

Okay, now that we got that out of the way, let’s get on to Mr. Oliver’s latest musical offering, a live in-studio jam session of Gloria Jones’ 1964 song “Tainted Love,” later made popular by synth-pop group Soft Cell in 1981.

Bilal is joined by Miguel Atwood-Ferguson and electronic musician Daedalus for this D’Angelo-on-an-awesomely-bad-acid-trip live rendition of the song.  The performance was captured in one take with no overdubs, so as you see it here is how it was played in that exact moment.
