Describing her attraction toward Wiz, Rose pointed out his grown man approach to life.

“He’s just so positive. He’s one of those people that in any situation he can always see the brighter side to something. And he always has a smile on his face, he’s never in a bad mood, he’s super talented and smart, he’s a boss. Just being around him I realized he’s not no little boy like I thought he was. He’s a grown man about his business. His music alone, he’s not in the same circle as those other dudes, he’s on some other sh*t. So when he left we just talked on the phone constantly and that’s when we realized we were really falling for each other. And I was like when this young boy gets back from Pittsburgh; he is definitely getting some…definitely [laughs].” (KING)

Rose also took the opportunity to tell critics to stop with negative comparisons to her ex-boyfriend, Kanye West.

“There’s no comparison in personalities. You know when people say how do you go from Kanye to Wiz Khalifa, that’s a downgrade. But the only question I can ask them is: Have you ever dated Kanye? Because I have, and believe me, I did not downgrade at all. Not in any aspect, at all.” (KING)

During West’s “Stronger” Coachella performance last month, he took a subliminal shot at his ex.

After an energetic hour long set at the Californian music festival, West and rapper Wiz Khalifa nearly came to blows in an ugly confrontation over Khalifa’s current girlfriend, the model Amber Rose. West, who used to date Rose, took a dig at his ex during a performance of his hit song ‘Stronger.’ The original lyrics of the song includes a line which says: “I’d do anything for a blonde dyke. And she’ll do anything if the time’s right”. Yet, with Rose standing on the side of the stage, West altered the word to: ‘I did anything for that blonde dyke. And she did anything when the time’s right.’ (Independent Online)

Wiz Khalifa later came forward and denied accusations claiming he confronted West about what was said.

“I did my set and we hung around for a bit, but we weren’t even there when fam was onstage,” Wiz said referring to himself and Rose. “Somebody made that up. I think they just wanted it to be that type of situation or they wanted to see something go down. It’s fun to talk about it and make jokes about, but in all reality, that didn’t even exist.” Wiz said he did hear Kanye’s lyrics though. He thought it was a low moment, that many people who look up to West may have been turned off by his lyrical alteration. He harbors no ill will, however. “It is what it is, and I’m doing my business and she’s doing her business and he’s doing his business and that’s what it is. I’m all about positivity and I’m going to keep it that way.” (MTV)
