In addition to naming Rick Ross and Lil Wayne, Drama alsoincluded former hip-hop rival Young Jeezy in his Top 5.

“I gotta put [Rick] Ross in there, I gotta put [Lil] Wayne in there,” said Drama. “I still rep with the home team. My man [T.I.] about to come home and crush ’em. Shout to my man [Young] Jeezy, he’s doing his thing. And I gotta put 2 Chainzin there. He’s really smashing the A and on honorary mention, shout out to the homie Future, too.” (DJ Absolut)

Recently, former Ruff Ryders artist Drag-On told SOHH Rick Ross makes it into his own personal Top 5 favorite rappers list.

Rick Ross. I really like Ross’ music these days, too. I’m a big fan of powerful music and that’s what I feel when I listen to Ross. Any artist that puts out powerful music, I’m a fan of them, so Ross has got to be in there.” (SOHH Top 5 Dead or Alive)

When SOHH recently reached out to Dipset’s Jim Jones, he alsoincluded the “Boss” in his Top 5.

“Rick Ross. He’s been blowing up, [and] his words are so crazy. You gotta look at that wordplay. He’s also got his swag together, killing everything that’s moving, shooting anything that’s moving, he’s smashing it all. What’s better than that?” (SOHH Top 5 Dead or Alive)

In 2009, after a few years of beefing, Drama and Jeezy finally came to terms and ended their dispute.

“On my end its like even through everything, we weren’t speaking a lot, there was stuff in there. Then I realized we can agree to disagree,” DJ Drama said in late 2009. “We are letting you know it’s bigger than us. We do what we do for yall. We are about to get so much more money, we are about to make so many more outlets for revenue for the city, for everybody to eat.” (Hot 107.9)
