Antonia “Toya” Carter and Mickey “Memphitz” Wright are now a married couple! The two tied the knot in a beautiful wedding in Atlanta yesterday evening before celebrating at a reception attended by rapper RaSheeda, Kandi, Nivea, Lauren London, and Tamar Braxton. After the wedding, Toya’s ex-hubby tweeted his well wishes: “Hat’s off to Toya and Memphis,best wishes.”
I must say, I love this couple and I adored them even more after reading their cover story in the February Issue of Sister 2 Sister Magazine as well as seeing them interact on her new reality show. Memphitz first met Toya at a T-Pain album release party and immediately thought, “that’s going to be my wife” but he had no idea who she was at the time. After finding out that she was Lil Wayne’s ex-wife, he was a little intimidated because it was the first time he had met a girl that didn’t need him for anything. “I’d be kind of weirded out by Toya a little bit because she’s got all this money. She don’t need me for nothing. All I’ve ever dealt with was girls that need me,” he said. However, he continued to court her and the rest is bridal history
