“Monkey Gang: The Mockumentary” a hip-hop comedy that parodies negativity in Gangsta Rap and Hip Hop culture will have its second advanced screening this Sunday, July 3rd at the Anthology Film Archives in downtown Manhattan at 2pm.
Since the trailer for the movie debuted in January of this year, Monkey Gang has been the talk of the internet. The trailer was posted by sites such as WorldStarHipHop.com, AllHipHop.com, Sohh.com and on the blogs of UK rapper, Tinie Tempah and UK deejay, DJ Semtex.
The first screening in June was a resounding success with viewers of the movie already comparing it to classics such as “Hollywood Shuffle,” “Fear Of A Black Hat” and “Bamboozled.”
