A former “Price Is Right” model is suing two of the show’s producers for sexual harassment — claiming one even verbally accosted her in the dressing room … while she was “naked and exposed.”
Lanisha Cole, the longest tenured model on TPIR, filed the lawsuit today in L.A. County Superior Court, accusing producers Michael Richards and Adam Sandler — coincidentally, NOT THE ACTORS — of harassing and abusing her in the workplace.
On one occasion last year, according to Lanisha’s lawyer, Sandler barged into her dressing room to berate her for not wearing a microphone — and “at the time, she was completely naked and exposed, except for a very sheer thong bikini underwear bottom.”
According to her lawyer, Sandler proceeded to loudly chastise Lanisha in front of the other models “without even trying to turn away or avert his eyes from her nakedness.”
Lanisha says she filed a formal complaint with the show’s HR department weeks later — but claims the show’s production company brushed her off for months … and ultimately did nothing about the alleged harassment. Lanisha says she quit in December.
Now, she wants payback — seeking damages for wrongful termination, sexual harassment, false imprisonment, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
Lanisha also makes it clear host Drew Carey has NOT been accused of any wrongdoing. Calls to TPIR haven’t been returned.
