On Sunday, September 18, crews will close I-480 east and westbound at Tiedeman Road from 4 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in order to reinstall a power line that came down during a recent wind storm. This complete closure is necessary in order to allow crews to cross the interstate with the high powered electrical wire.
Detours will be as follows:
I-480 eastbound motorists will be detoured via West 139th Street, east on Brookpark Road, north on Tiedeman Road back to I-480 eastbound.
I-480 westbound motorists will be detoured via south on Tiedeman Road, west on Brookpark Road, north on West 130th Street back to I-480 westbound.
In addition to permanent work zones and daily work plans, the following work is scheduled to take place over the weekend in Cuyahoga and Lake Counties:
Friday, September 16:
State Route 2 , Lake County
Beginning Friday, September 16 at 7 p.m. crews will reduce SR 2 westbound to one lane between Hopkins Road and SR 44 until 8 a.m. Sunday, September 18 in order to install a culvert under the roadway.
Sunday, September 18:
Interstate 90, Lake County
On Sunday, September 18, crews will close I-90 east and westbound at Auburn Road for approximately 10 minutes around 8 a.m. in order to reinstall a power line.
State Route 44, Lake County
On Sunday, September 18, crews will close SR 44 north and southbound at Auburn Road for approximately 10 minutes around 9 a.m. in order to reinstall a power line.
Interstate 90, Cuyahoga County
Overnight Sunday, September 18, crews will close various lanes on I-90 eastbound at SR 252 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. in order to perform bridge spalling operations.
