AVON, OH (WOIO) –
Someone swiped the costume head for Stomper, the Lake Erie Crushers mascot, from All Pro Freight Stadium.
The beloved mascot missed the team’s season ending games and playoffs as a result.
Team officials tell 19 Action News they had been working with Avon police, but police suspended the investigation.
Stomper joined the team in spring of 2009 and quickly became a fan favorite at All Pro Freight Stadium.
