We’ve reported on stories about the Transportation Security Administration aka TSA searching only black women’s hair but now CNN, which recently came under fire for playing a rap song with “N*gger” in it during a story about an elderly black woman CLICK, has taken it to a whole different level! Let’s update those not in the know.
The TSA has decided that afros could possibly contain weapons. So what happened? They gave a Texas woman an afro pat down. Which some are consider racist.
Isis Brantley (seen above) from Dallas is the latest to be stopped by TSA at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta so they could check her hair for explosives.
The TSA said in a statement, “Additional screening may be required for clothing, headwear or hair where prohibited items could be hidden. This passenger left the checkpoint prior to the completion of the screening process. She was offered but refused private screening.”
Brantley styles hair (Erykah Badu) for a living and travels to cities to work for clients. She said this was the first time in 20 years that her hair had to be checked for explosives or weapons at an airport.
So after numerous stations reported on the incident including CNN, the lamestream network decided as one BMS reader pointed out, “CNN now thinks they are comedy central! They think black women are a joke! Check out this video as CNN makes fun of black women and the humiliation we have to go through.”
