On Saturday around 9:30 P.M., two men in Indianapolis robbed a 49-year-old woman as she left the Northwest Baptist Church and stole her BIBLE. They also stole her shawl, and that’s it.  No money, cell phone, nothing else.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were flagged down about the robbery around 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

The 49-year-old woman said she was leaving Northwest Baptist Church, 3550 N. High School Road, when the men approached her, according to an IMPD report. She said one man put a black handgun against her ribs and said, “Give up the purse.”The other man then grabbed it from her.
