Well that didn’t last long! Reality show star Kim Kardashian is allegedly filing for divorce TODAY from NBA hubby Kris Humphries! Even though the marriage was short, only 72 days, we’re told she will not seek an annulment. Kim cites “irreconcilable differences.”
It doesn’t help that she was spotted having lunch with her ex boyfriend and NFL star Reggie Bush in NY over the weekend while Kris was out of town! DAMN!
We’re told the date of separation is listed as today, Oct. 31, 2011. Kim has hired the queen of divorce attorneys, Laura Wasser, who has repped the likes of Britney Spears, Maria Shriver, Angelina Jolie, Ryan Reynolds, and Robyn Gibson, Mel’s almost ex-wife.
The couple does have a prenuptial agreement … Kim made sure of that. Word is the couple couldn’t agree on where they would settle down after all of the wedding madness finally died down.
We’re told Kris was passionate about living in Minnesota, where he’s from and believed Kim was on board with the plan but obviously she wasn’t.
Sources say Kim, who’s from L.A., wants to live near her family and she also feels that staying in town is the best thing for her career.
Apparently no one thought to bring this up before throwing a $10 million wedding! We’re told the two talked about their future but got caught up in the hooplah and figured they would simply figure it out after they tied the knot. NOT!
Rumors of a split had been swirling for some time and the two were spotted out to dinner earlier this week … looking less than pleased with each another.
