Mary J. Blige graced the couch on British talk show “Alan Carr: Chatty Man” to promote her upcoming album My Life II… The Journey Continues (Act I). The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul laughed until her makeup started running while chatting with the English comedian.

She discussed the possibility of becoming a judge on the U.K. version of “The Voice,” not being “polished” like her peers Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston, her relationship with Diddy, and rap alter ego Brook Lynn.

“I don’t want to talk about Brook Lynn because she gets really ugly,” said MJB. “She’s the person that really protects Mary from all of the people that have horrible things to say about her. I keep her tucked away.” Source
