On his new track “Sweet,” produced by old mentor No I.D., Common sounds tougher than he has in years. And in the track’s new video, he also looks tough. The rapper went on location to Haiti to film the video, and snarling from a Port-Au-Prince rooftop is a good look. But the video also doubles as a fundraising effort for the Sean Penn-founded J/P Haitian Relief Organization. Com debuted the video on Ustream last night, asking a dollar donation from anyone who watched it, and he’s still hoping to use the clip to raise money. So: Tough and admirable. Watch the video below
