Shaquille O’Neal recently came clean about his first marriage in his new memoir, “Shaq Uncut:  My Story.”

O’Neal was married to Shaunie Nelson for several years and the two had four children, but the couple split in 2009 amid allegations of infidelity.

Shaq wrote, “At one time my ex-wife Shaunie and I were happy, but I admit it—I was a guy. I was a guy with too many options.  Choosing to be with some of those women, well, that’s me. In my mind, I never did it disrespectfully, but obviously I shouldn’t have done it at all.”

Shaunie, the creator of the popular show “Basketball Wives,” hired a private investigator to get all the details of Shaq’s moves.

They discovered Shaq’s sexting and uncovered his mistress, Vanessa Lopez, who eventually sued him for harassing her after their affair.

Shaunie filed for divorce and was granted custody of the children.

Shaq is now in a relationship with Nikki “Hoopz” Alexander, who was featured on the VHI reality show “Flavor of Love” and “I Love Money.”

The two make an eye-catching pair—Alexander is 5’1” to Shaq’s 7’1” towering frame.

Rumors recently surfaced that Shaq and Nikki recently eloped and that Shaq got married without a prenup, but those rumors have not been confirmed.
