Ne-Yo has spent nearly a week surprising children in foster cares group homes, and Boys & Girls Clubs with Christmas presents. The holiday tour gave over 4,000 children something to smile about in Boston, Chicago, D.C., Orlando, and Las Vegas.

An excited teenager shares, “This is the first famous person I actually met!” as he holds his new football signed by the recording artist. Through happy tears another teenager gushes over her new nail polish, “We don’t have Christmases like this all the time.”

But this is not a new outing for Ne-Yo. For the past five years, he has visited underprivileged children across the country on his annual ‘Giving Tour’. He usually brings toys, games, shoes and clothing along.

“This Giving Tour is needed, and it is my pleasure and my responsibility to show our future leaders, dreams can come true and I am living, breathing-proof of this,” says the R&B star. ”No child should be deprived of the celebration that comes with the holiday season.”
